Where is Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall located?
Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall is located at the intersection of Broadway and 60th Street in New York, NY, 10019.

To reach Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, go to the Time Warner Center (The Shops at Columbus Circle, 10 Columbus Circle, New York, NY 10019) and enter on 58th Street, 60th Street, or at Columbus Circle. Take the JAZZ elevators to the fifth floor, where you will find Rose Theater, The Appel Room, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, the Atrium, and the Irene Diamond Education Center.

A, B, C, D, or 1 to 59th Street-Columbus Circle N, R, or Q to 57th Street-7th Avenue F to 57th Street

Ticketing Information

Are there student discount tickets?
Student tickets are available one hour prior to the scheduled start time of the performance at the Box Office only, subject to availability. Student rush tickets are $10 each; maximum of two per student ID. Student pricing for Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola available for select artist sets. Please refer to the individual event listings on the Jazz at Lincoln Center website for specific student cover charges. Student covers for the Late Night Session are: Tues-Fri, $5; Sat, $10.

Are there other reduced rate tickets?
We offer a limited number of $10 Hot Seat Tickets for select Jazz at Lincoln Center concerts. Please visit the special programs and offers page for more information. $5 cover on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 11:30pm for the Late Night Session at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. For access to season pre-sales, discounts and exclusive events, consider joining our membership program starting at just $75. Membership includes 50% off day-of tickets to Jazz at Lincoln Center produced shows in The Appel Room and Rose Theater (subject to availability), and a Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola discount of $10 off up to two covers, Mon-Wed.

Are group sales available?

I misplaced my tickets. How do I obtain replacements?
If you have misplaced your tickets, please email customerservice@jazz.org before the performance to arrange for replacement tickets. We will have your replacement tickets waiting for you at the Box Office on the ground floor of 60th and Broadway (Located within the Time Warner Center).

What is your refund policy? What if there is inclement weather?
Jazz at Lincoln Center does not cancel performances due to inclement weather. All ticket sales are final. If you cannot attend a performance, you may donate the tickets back to the organization and receive a tax deduction receipt for the full amount. If you would like to have a friend attend a performance in your place, you can give the tickets to a friend or email customerservice@jazz.org 24 hours prior to the date of the show to have new tickets printed and held at the box office for your friends to pick up.

At the Venue

Are children allowed?
Yes; however, all attendees – including children – must be ticketed for the performance. If you choose to bring a child and he/she creates a disturbance or interferes with anyone’s enjoyment of the performance, you and the child will kindly be asked to step out of the theater.

What are your family-friendly performances?
We highly recommend the Jazz for Young People® concert series and our Big Band Holidays family matinee. You should also check out WeBop.

What is the dress code?
There is no standard dress code at Jazz at Lincoln Center. We recommend comfortable clothing appropriate for a professional setting.

What time do you recommend arriving before a show?
For Rose Theater and Appel Room performances, it is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the show time. For Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola performances, it is recommended you arrive by 6:30pm for the 7:30pm set, and 8:45pm forthe 9:30pm set.

What if I am late?
For late entry to a Rose Theater or Appel Room performance, please see an usher for assistance. Please check in with the hostess at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola for late entry.

Can I eat, drink, or smoke in Frederick P. Rose Hall?
You may purchase a reusable Jazz at Lincoln Center tumbler with a drink of your choice at any of our intermission bars which you may bring into Rose Theater and The Appel Room. Other drinks and food are not permitted inside our theaters. Smoking is strictly prohibited in Frederick P. Rose Hall. Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola offers a full service restaurant and bar; there is a $10 minimum order of food or beverage required.

Where can I find a list of area restaurants?
Jazz at Lincoln Center is conveniently located in Columbus Circle, offering many restaurants and dining options nearby. View a list from the Lincoln Square BID.

Is there parking at Frederick P. Rose Hall?
To reserve parking at Central Parking System at the Time Warner Center, please call CenterCharge (212-721-6500). There is also convenient parking available a few blocks to the north on the Lincoln Center campus.

What is the scheduled run-time of the performance?
Rose Theater performances are scheduled to run approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes; 8pm shows will conclude around 10:15 or 10:30pm. Appel Room performances are scheduled to run approximately 75-90 minutes; 7pm sets will end at approximately 8:15-8:30pm, and 9:30pm sets will end at approximately 10:45-11pm. Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola sets are scheduled to run approximately 75 minutes; 7:30pm sets will end at approximately 8:45pm, and 9:30pm sets will end at approximately 10:45pm.

Is there a coat check at the theater?
Yes, there is a coat check located to the right of the elevators on the 5th floor of the Time Warner Center. Coat check is complimentary for JALC members and subscribers who display their member or subscriber cards. A complimentary coat check is also available at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola near the hostess stand.

May I take photos or record anything?
Taking flash photographs or using recording equipment inside the theater is strictly prohibited during performances. Taking photos without flash is permitted, unless otherwise stated. However, if you are going to take a photograph we ask that you please be considerate of the experiences of the patrons around you and do so as unobtrusively as possible.
