About Fredrick P. Rose Hall

NYC’s most versatile and spacious venue for jazz, the performing arts, and corporate events. Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall frequently plays host to events ranging from fundraising galas and movie premieres to awards ceremonies and corporate functions.

The Rose Hall team also invites external partners to hire artists from the extended JALC family to perform at their events, which in turn supports working musicians and expands the community within and beyond The House of Swing.

Rose TheatER

Gorgeous both sonically and visually, Rose Theater utilizes ambitious elements such as a retractable concert shell ceiling and a sophisticated acoustical curtain and banner system to help tailor the sound quality of the hall for individual performances.

The Appel Room

Based on the design of a Greek amphitheater, The Appel Room merges luxuriant splendor with functional accessibility. Overlooking Columbus Circle and Central Park, the shimmering skyline is the perfect backdrop for jazz.

Dizzys Club

Unlike most historical and modern-day jazz venues, Dizzy’s Club soars several stories above the expansive vista of Central Park. Sit at a table or the bar, enjoy great food, and listen in the most intimate of jazz venues.

Ertegun Atrium

Notable for its welcoming ambiance and magnificent views, the Ertegun Atrium is the largest open space available in Frederick P. Rose Hall. Intended to serve as the facility’s main public lobby, the Ertegun Atrium is also finely suited to handle a comprehensive assortment of events.

Irene Diamond Education Center

Our many educational programs are housed in the acoustically-treated multi-functional classrooms of The Irene Diamond Education Center. The Agnes Varis and Karl Leichtman Studio functions as a full service recording facility.
