Or, call the Subscriber Hotline at 212-258-9999, Mon- Fri from 11am-5pm, and Saturdays 11am-5pm on concert weekends. You can also email us at subscriptions@jazz.org to request a ticket exchange. Prefer to exchange in person? Stop by the Box Office on the ground floor of the Time Warner Center, Mon-Sat 10am-6pm, and Sundays from 12pm-6pm.
After submitting your ticket exchange request, you must deface your tickets and discard them. All exchanged tickets will be voided. Exchanges will NOT be accepted after the date of your show has passed. All exchanges are subject to availability.
Can I exchange my tickets for a performance in another season?
Tickets may only be exchanged for other Jazz at Lincoln Center-produced events within the same season.
For 2018-19 Subscription exchanges, please click here see all available shows.
How do I receive my tickets once they’ve been exchanged?
Exchanged tickets will automatically be held at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office, located on the ground floor of the Time Warner Center. You will need photo ID to pick up your new tickets. If you would like your exchanged tickets to be mailed, please indicate this when you submit your exchange request. For exchanges done over the phone or online, please allow at least 48 hours for the exchange to be processed. Exchanges done in person at the Box Office will be available on the spot.
Please be sure to mark your calendar with your newly scheduled concert date and remove your old concert from your calendar. If you attempt to attend an event you have exchanged out of, please be aware that we will be unable to grant you admission into the theater.
Where can I get an extra copy of my Order Form or the new season brochure?
Please email us at subscriptions@jazz.org and we will be happy to send you any materials you need.
Where can I find a seating chart to reference my seat locations?
You can find a detailed seating chart of our venues here.
How do I add tickets to my order at the subscriber price to bring friends and family?
Subscribers can bring guests to their subscribed performances and receive the same subscription pricing discount on their tickets. If you are looking to purchase additional tickets to one of your previously purchased subscription performances, call the Subscriber Hotline at 212-258-9999, Mon-Fri from 11am-5pm, and Saturdays 11am-5pm on concert weekends. You can also email us at subscriptions@jazz.org to request additional tickets.
How do I purchase tickets outside of my subscription package?
To purchase tickets outside of your subscription package, please call Center Charge at 212-721-6500, or visit www.jazz.org. You can also also visit the Box Office on the ground floor of the Time Warner Center, Mon-Sat 10am-6pm, and Sundays from 12pm-6pm. Subscription Services is only able to assist with additional ticket purchases for performances within your subscription package.
What does each code in the series listing stand for?
This code refers to the type of series you are subscribing to, the day of the week, the time (in the case of the shows in The Appel Room), and the season year. For example, JLCO-TH-16 simply stands for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra series on Thursday night for the 2015-16 season. Please refer to the following chart for the codes of each series:
TAKE 3,4,5 | Take Package (Create your own season) |
JLCO | Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra |
JLCO 2 | Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra 2 |
JFYP | Jazz For Young People |
JJ | Jazz Jam |
VV | Visionary Voices |
JPS | Jazz & Popular Song |
JIN | Jazz Innovators |
LAR | Live in The Appel Room |
SOM | Singers Over Manhattan |
How can I specify where I’d like to sit when ordering a subscription online?
All seating is completed by the Subscriptions department on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to make a specific seating request, please purchase your subscription for the general price level within which your desired seats are located (please refer to the seating chart for price levels and locations) and add your specific request in the seating request field. You may also email subscriptions@jazz.org to make your specific request. All seating is subject to availability, but we will do everything possible to accommodate your specific seat request.
I would like to change my seat locations. What can I do?
Please rest assured that we strive to accommodate all your seating requests, and if your request was not completed, it is only because it was unavailable. We strongly urge you to attend your first concert and try out your assigned seat locations before requesting any changes. If you would still like to change your seat locations after your first concert, please contact Subscription Services.
I chose the take 3, 4, 5 subscription package, but I have different seat locations for each performance in my subscription. Why?
Because you can choose any performance as part of our take 3,4,5 package, your concerts may span over multiple traditional series packages (i.e. JLCO, Singers Over Manhattan, etc.). Fixed series subscribers have the ability to keep their seats from the prior season, so available seating varies from series to series and thus, concert to concert. Unless you made a specific seating request, you were automatically given the best available seats according to the date you subscribed and the price point you selected.
How do I donate my tickets?
If you cannot attend your performance you may always donate them to Jazz at Lincoln Center. To donate your tickets, call the ticket donation hotline at 212-258-9998. Follow the directions to state your name, address, concert date and time, as well as your ticket locations including row and seat number.
