Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 2019 Gala “The Birth of Jazz: From Bolden to Armstrong” honors Becky and Art Samberg with Ed Bradley ward for Leadership in jazz, and Ellis Marsalis with award for artistic excellence

New York, NY (March 7, 2019) - Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 2019 Gala, “The Birth of Jazz: From Bolden to Armstrong,” will celebrate New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz, and support Jazz at Lincoln Center’s mission to entertain, enrich and expand a global community for jazz through performance, education, and advocacy. This one-night only benefit performance and dinner - a Big Easy party that will romp through a jazz and blues repertoire - takes place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, 7:00 p.m. at Frederick P. Rose Hall, “The House of Swing,” located at Broadway at 60th Street, New York, New York.

BOLDEN Original Motion Picture Soundtrack featuring music composed, performed and arranged by Wynton Marsalis available on CD and digitally on April 19, 2019 from Blue Engine Records

New York, NY - March 5, 2019 - Blue Engine Records announces the release of the Bolden Original Motion Picture Soundtrack with music composed, arranged and performed by Wynton Marsalis. The Bolden soundtrack features music from the film directed by Dan Pritzker (in theaters nationwide on May 3, 2019) and will be available on CD and all major digital music platforms on April 19, 2019. Additionally, a limited-edition 12” vinyl single featuring an exclusive song from the soundtrack will be available in select independent record stores as part of Record Store Day on April 13, 2019.

Jazz in the Sun: Tickets now on sale for 2019 Saint Lucia Jazz Festival produced in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center

New York, NY (March 1, 2019) - Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Saint Lucia Jazz Festival Produced in Collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, which will showcase more than a dozen performances from world-renowned artists Sunday, May 4 through Sunday, May 12, 2019. Through a first-time, one-of-a-kind collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, the week-long festival features five Artists-In-Residence, some of the finest names in modern jazz, performing in intimate venues and public settings throughout Saint Lucia certain to attract guests from around the globe. Ticket prices begin at USD$40 per person and guests will receive a 20 percent discount if purchased before March 31.
