NEW: Open Panel Submission Process
Enables Attendees to Propose Topics and Panelists

New York, NY (June 18, 2018) – Jazz at Lincoln Center and JazzTimes today announced the dates for the 2019 Jazz Congress, a conference which brings together members of the global jazz community to network, as well as grow the audience for the music. The annual gathering also seeks to nurture businesses and organizations that promote, produce, present, market and support jazz. The second annual Jazz Congress will take place on January 7 & 8, 2019 at Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located at Broadway at 60th Street, New York, New York.

Registration opens on August 1, 2018. Conference keynote address and schedule of panels, workshops, meetings and performances will be announced soon.

In addition to sessions designed by conference organizers, the 2019 Jazz Congress introduces an open panel submission process enabling attendees to submit ideas for panels and interactive workshops. Individuals can submit one session idea and must confirm at least one other panelist to be considered. As session dates and times cannot be guaranteed, proposed panelists are encouraged to attend both days of Jazz Congress. The deadline to submit panel ideas is August 15, 2018. Jazz Congress organizers will notify accepted entries by September 12, 2018.

To register for 2019 Jazz Congress, for more information and to submit a panel, go to jazzcongress.org.
