McCoy Tyner to Perform at Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame Festival at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, July 18, 7:30 & 9:30pm

New York, NY (June 29, 2017) - Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola announces NEA Jazz Master McCoy Tyner will perform the first night of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame Festival on July 18. The Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame Festival will honor the 2017 class of inductees Tito Puente, Don Redman, and McCoy Tyner with specially curated sets at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, July 18-20. This will be Tyner’s Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola debut and his first return to Jazz at Lincoln Center since 2012, having previously headlined performances in The Allen Room, now known as The Appel Room, and Rose Theater.

Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola August 2017 Lineup Announced

New York, NY (June 22, 2017) - Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola announces its August 2017 lineup featuring a diverse array of Latin jazz programs, as well as debuts by bands and bandleaders: drummer Ulysses Owens, Jr.’s New Century Big Band, saxophonist Jane Bunnett and Maqueque, the Danowsky/Wolsk Jazz Orchestra, and Cuban pianist Axel Tosca.

NEW YORK, NY “ June 26, 2017 “ Jazz at Lincoln Center announces its 3rd annual premier high school program, Summer Jazz Academy, in residence at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York from July 17 - 30. Forty-four advanced high school jazz students from across the U.S. and Cuba were selected to participate in the two-week rigorous training institute designed and instructed by Jazz at Lincoln Center Artistic and Managing Director, Wynton Marsalis.
