Steve Miller: Out of this World
Jazz at Lincoln Center presents the world premiere of Steve Miller: Out of this World with Jimmie Vaughan on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:30pm in Rose Theater, with encore performances on Saturday, April 9 at 7pm and 9:30pm in The Appel Room. A 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Steve Miller hosts Ma Rainey Meets Miles Davis, a wide-ranging musical-and-beyond revue.

Jazz at Lincoln Center proudly announces the 15 finalist bands that will compete in the 21st Annual Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival; one of the most innovative jazz education events in the world; at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s home, Frederick P. Rose Hall, on May 5 - 7, 2016. The following finalists are among nearly 100 high school jazz bands across North America that entered the competition.
