Jazz at Lincoln Center, dedicated to entertaining, enriching and expanding a global community for jazz through performance, education and advocacy, announced today, From Havana to the Hamptons. This special event, hosted by Co-Chairs Greg Ammon and Valentino D. Carlotti, will be held on August 14, 2015 in East Hampton, NY. Critically-acclaimed, Cuban musicians Pedrito Martinez and Jose “Pepito” Gomez will perform, bringing the sounds of Cuba to the East End.

Reaching out into the boroughs, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 2015-16 season opens in the Bronx on September 12, 2015, 8pm at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts with the debut of new compositions and arrangements by Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra bassist Carlos Henriquez.

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis Carlos Henriquez: Back in The Bronx
Reaching out into the boroughs, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 2015-16 season opens in the Bronx on September 12, 2015, 8pm at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts with the debut of new compositions and arrangements by Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra bassist Carlos Henriquez. The Bronx-born, Nuyorican veteran bassist of the orchestra returns home to honor his musical roots, joined by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The orchestra will also be joined by special guests percussionists Bobby Allende and Marc Quiñones.

Jazz at Lincoln Center Launches Blue Engine Records
Jazz at Lincoln Center, dedicated to entertaining, enriching and expanding a global community for jazz through performance, education and advocacy, today announced the formation of Blue Engine Records, a new platform to make its vast archive of recorded concerts available to jazz audiences everywhere. The label will release new studio and live recordings as well as archival recordings from Jazz at Lincoln Center’s performance history, which date back to 1987 and are part of the R. Theodore Ammon Archives and Music Library.
