Our Love is Here To Stay: The George Gershwin Songbook

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis presents Our Love is Here To Stay: The George Gershwin Songbook on January 28-30, 2016 at 8pm in Rose Theater, located in Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York. Trombonist Chris Crenshaw and multireedist Victor Goines serves as music directors, leading their fellow JLCO members as they debut new jazz arrangements of music by one of America’s greatest composers.

Charles Lloyd & The Marvels Featuring Bill Frisell

Iconic, innovative saxophonist Charles Lloyd returns to Jazz at Lincoln Center as a 2015 NEA Jazz Master for two nights on Friday & Saturday, January 29 & 30 at 7:00pm & 9:30pm in The Appel Room. Joined by his new quintet The Marvels, Lloyd pairs two of his favorite partners, bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Eric Harland, with two great guitarists- Bill Frisell and Greg Leisz.

Jazz in the Key of Life

Led by Music Director and lead Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra trombonist Vincent Gardner, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis presents Jazz in the Key of Life on January 15 & 16, 2016 at 8pm in Rose Theater, located in Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York. Gardner and fellow members of the JLCO will debut more than a dozen new jazz arrangements of r&b and pop classics from the late 1960s and 1970s.

Fred Hersch & Friends: Intimate Moments

Jazz at Lincoln Center presents Fred Hersch & Friends: Intimate Moments on Friday & Saturday, January 15 & 16, 2016, at 7:00pm & 9:30pm in The Appel Room. Acclaimed pianist and composer Fred Hersch has put forth some of the most arrestingly beautiful solo and trio projects in the last ten years. He has been called "one of the small handful of brilliant musicians of his generation" by Downbeat, and his music has been praised as “luxurious, free-flowing, unashamedly gorgeous jazz” by New York Times.
