Guitar icon Bill Frisell returns as curator of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Roots of Americana series, joined by an array of guest musicians, to explore the intersections of rock, country, jazz, and blues. This season, the series opens with This Land: Woody Guthrie’s Better World, the first of three concerts in the Roots of Americana series during the 2014-15 season, and takes place on September 19-20 at 7pm & 9:30pm in The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P.
