JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER'S BRAZILIAN FESTIVAL
On October 24 and 25, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Brazilian Festival will highlight music from Northeast Brazil’s Pernambuco state. The innovative SpokFrevo Orquestra, of Recife, Pernambuco’s largest city, will make its Jazz at Lincoln Center debut in The Appel Room, led by saxophonist Inaldo Cavalcante de Albuquerque and joined by special guests Melissa Aldana and Wycliffe Gordon.

ANAT COHEN'S ROOTS OF RIO & VICTOR GOINES' ROOTS OF RAGTIME
Two of the leading jazz voices on clarinet and saxophone - Anat Cohen and Victor Goines - are set to premiere new works on October 17 and 18 in Jazz at Lincoln Center’s The Appel Room (Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York, New York), offering their fresh take on the roots of Choro and Ragtime, respectively.
