DIZZY’S CLUB Coca-Cola December 2013 Lineup Announced
This December, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola features a full lineup of performances, including holiday shows by the Ted Rosenthal Trio, vocalists Michael Mwenso, Brianna Thomas and Charenee Wade, as well as Duduka da Fonseca & Helio Alves. Several artists make their Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola debut, including Gabriel Alegria Afro-Peruvian Jazz Sextet, the Bria Skonberg Quartet, and the Kate Davis Trio. Bobby Watson and Horizon take residence to celebrate three decades of music.

Jazz at Lincoln Center’s highly anticipated concert event, Ladies Sing The Blues, will be available via free, live webcast on November 8 & 9 at 7pm & 9:30pmET on new.livestream.com/jazz. Ladies Sing The Blues features Catherine Russell, Brianna Thomas, and Charenee Wade in a first time collaboration in Jazz at Lincoln Center’s The Allen Room, and channeling the independent, liberated spirits, and pioneering vocalizations of 1920s blues divas.

WYNTON MARSALIS TO BECOME DIRECTOR OF JAZZ STUDIES OF JUILLIARD BEGINNING JULY 1, 2014
The Juilliard School and Jazz at Lincoln Center today jointly announced that Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Managing & Artistic Director and a Juilliard alumnus, will become Director of Jazz Studies at Juilliard beginning July 1, 2014.

JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER SWINGS IN THE HOLIDAYS
This holiday season, Jazz at Lincoln Center brings back Big Band Holidays, a favorite seasonal tradition in Rose Theater, and the second annual Ring In The Swing: A New Year’s Eve Dance Party, the organization’s swing dance party and concert, in The Allen Room.
