At a moment when arts instruction is declining, Jazz at Lincoln Center is looking to expand the Middle School Jazz Academy (MSJA), which offers tuition-free jazz instruction. Students in the program learn how to play jazz and about the importance of teamwork, creativity, and self-expression from Jazz at Lincoln Center faculty, members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and visiting jazz masters.

The MSJA is just one of the many Jazz at Lincoln Center initiatives that takes place beyond our hall—and just one of our many projects that’s expanding and energizing the global jazz community. When you support Jazz at Lincoln Center, you’re investing in the future of the music.

Together, we can set the stage for the future. Give to jazz.

“We don’t know how many Louis Armstrongs there are right here in New York City who have very little access to music instruction.”
