With recorder and vocalist Tali Rubinstein, pianist Micha Gilad, bassist and music director Yoni Marianer, and drummer Noam Israeli.

Making her Jazz at Lincoln Center debut tonight is the internationally renowned recorder innovator and vocalist Tali Rubinstein. Born and raised in Israel, she studied at the country’s top music institutions and eventually attended Berklee College of Music on full scholarship, becoming the school’s first-ever recorder student. Rubinstein now collaborates with acclaimed artists from around the world, partaking in unique cross-cultural projects with Javier Limon, Anat Cohen, Tomatitio, Chick Corea, Chucho Valdéz, Pacio de Lucía’s original band, Lauth Sidiq, Shilpa Ananth, Jamey Haddad, and Shedrick Mitchell, in addition to dozens of Israel’s top musicians. She’s an extraordinary talent whose artistry resonates with music fans across geographical and cultural lines alike. Tonight’s 7:30pm set is your chance to see Rubinstein in a live performance while she’s here in the city.
