Generations in Jazz coming to Dizzy's

Beginning September 1, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola will host the sixth annual Coca-Cola Generations in Jazz Festival. The festival kicks off on September 1 with dynamic vocalists Michael Mwenso and Brianna Thomas and runs through September 30, featuring performances by Charenee Wade, Tootie Heath, and Bryan Carter.

Jazz and Prohibition: An evening of history, live music and whiskey

Last Saturday Jazz at Lincoln Center partnered with Kings County Distillery to host an evening of jazz and whiskey. Colin Spoelman, Founder, Kings County Distillery and Seton Hawkins, Manager, Education Resources and Public Programming, led a discussion about the prohibition era, followed by whiskey tasting, live jazz and a garden party.
