Please view the Online Ticket Exchange form at: jazz.org/exchange. You may also call the Subscriber Hotline at 212-258-9999, Mon- Fri from 11am-5pm, or stop by the Box Office Mon-Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 12pm-6pm.
After submitting your ticket exchange request, you must deface your tickets and discard them. All exchanged tickets will be voided. Online and phone exchanges must be requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled concert. In person exchanges are available up to 2 hours prior to the performance. Exchanges will NOT be accepted after the date of your show has passed. All exchanges are subject to availability.
Tickets may only be exchanged for other JALC produced events within the same season.3. How do I purchase additional tickets outside of my subscription package?
To purchase additional tickets outside of your subscription package, please call Center Charge at 212-721-6500, or visit www.jazz.org. Subscription Services is only able to assist with additional ticket purchases for performances within your subscription package.4. How do I receive my tickets once they’ve been exchanged?
Exchanged tickets will automatically be held at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office, located on the ground floor of the Time Warner Center. You will need photo ID to pick up your new tickets. For exchanges done over the phone or online, please allow at least 48 hours for the exchange to be processed. Exchanges done in person at the Box Office will be available on the spot. We regret that we are unable to mail tickets once they have been exchanged.
Please be sure to mark your calendar with your newly scheduled concert date and remove your old concert from your calendar. If you attempt to attend an event you have exchanged out of, please be aware that we will be unable to grant you admission into the theater.
If you are looking to purchase additional tickets to a subscription show you have already purchased, you may call the Subscriber Hotline at 212-258-9999, Mon-Fri 11am-5pm to order over the phone.6. What does each code in the series listing stand for?
This code refers to the type of series you are subscribing to, the day of the week, the time (in the case of shows in The Appel Room) and the season year. For example, JLCO-TH-14 simply stands for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra series on Thursday nights for the 2013-14 season. Please refer to the following chart for the codes of each series:
|JLCO||Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra|
|JPS||Jazz & Popular Song|
|J4YP||Jazz For Young People|
|SOM||Singers Over Manhattan|
|ABS||A Side B Sides|
|LAR||Live in The Appel Room|
|ROA||Roots of Americana|
7. How can I specify where I’d like to sit when ordering a subscription online?
All seating is completed by the Subscriptions department on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to make a specific seating request, please purchase your subscription for the general price level within which your desired seats are located (please refer to the seating chart for price levels and locations) and add your specific request in the seating request field. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org to make your specific request. All seating is subject to availability, but we will do everything possible to accommodate your specific seat request.8. I would like to change my seat locations. What can I do?
Please rest assured that we strive to accommodate all your seating requests, and if your request was not completed, it is only because it was unavailable. We strongly urge you to attend your first concert and try out your assigned seat locations before requesting any changes. If you would still like to change your seat locations after your first concert, please contact Subscription Services.9. I chose the new TAKE subscription package, but I have different seat locations for each performance in my subscription. Why?
Because you can choose any performance as part of our new TAKE package, your concerts may span over multiple traditional series packages (i.e. JLCO, Singers Over Manhattan, etc.). Subscribers have the ability to keep their seats from the prior season, so available seating varies from series to series and thus, concert to concert. Unless you made a specific seating request, you were automatically given the best available seats according to the date you subscribed and the price point you selected.10. How do I donate my tickets?
If you cannot attend your performance you may always donate them to JALC. To donate your tickets call the ticket donation hotline at 212-258-9998. Follow the directions to state your name, address, concert date and time, as well as your ticket locations including row and seat number. If you have your subscriber ID number, you may leave that as well. We will mail you a donation acknowledgement the week after your concert passes. Please destroy the tickets that you are donating. If you need to speak with someone, please call the Subscriber hotline at 212-258-9999.
