Product and Marketing Assistant

 

The Product and Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting product development and executing marketing plans on behalf of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Audience Development team with a special focus on Blue Engine Records. The Audience Development Assistant will work closely with the Product and Marketing Manager and Audience Development Director—as well as the Vice President of Brand and Audience Development—to assist and support various team responsibilities, including but not limited to:

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain master production calendar for the Audience Development team and manage scheduling for Blue Engine team meetings.

  • Secure placements and chart the performance of multi-platform promotional campaigns for Blue Engine Records.

  • Administer contracting with Audience Development stakeholders and vendors.

  • Monitor sales of Blue Engine records and track royalty accrual for artists.

  • Support other Blue Engine Records activities—such as mailings, events, and other promotional efforts—as directed.

  • Conduct market research and ideate potential future products as directed.

  •  Collect and input monthly Audience Development data

  • Schedule Livestream events.

  • Administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. 

  • Administrative experience or marketing background preferred.

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Basecamp or equivalent project management software.

  • Ability to balance and complete multiple tasks against tight deadlines.

  • Must be highly organized.

  • Must be detail-oriented.

  • Must be team-oriented, responsive and comfortable collaborating, but also be able to work independently.

  • Digital native.

  • Baseline knowledge of jazz preferred.
