Marketing Assistant (Part-time)


The Marketing Assistant supports Jazz at Lincoln Center’s (JALC’s) ticketing and marketing team, providing administrative and database clerical support to the Assistant Director, Subscriptions and Ticketing as it pertains to ticket sales and reservations for Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola performances and other tasks as assigned.



  • Manage and maintain show builds in Tessitura for Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola performances ranging between 12-18 concerts each month, which include:

    • Creation of individual production seasons for each concert.

    • Assignment of specific house maps to each production season.

    • Management and set up of the venue seat capacity and department seat holds and relevant pricing for specific events.

    • Upload of concert content including performance name, time, price and description and ongoing maintenance for accuracy.

    • Testing the reservation path to ensure functionality and a smooth customer conversion experience.  

  • Administering performance content updates using third-party platforms, including Tessitura, Fountain and ICMS for Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola performances, while making sure all performance content is accurate and consistent across all customer facing platforms.

  • Revise customer database as needed with quarterly change of address reports, interest tags for marketing best practices and various other projects on an ad hoc basis.



  • Minimum of two years of professional work experience.

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a strict deadline-oriented environment.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills along with ability to work independently.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative and productive environment.

  • Previous experience with computerized ticketing software program(s) preferred, specifically Tessitura.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Appreciation of jazz music, and Jazz at Lincoln Center’s mission, with a willingness to learn.
