Trumpeter Ingrid Jensen brings her longtime trio to Dizzy’s to celebrate her new release on the Newvelle label. Joined by Gary Versace on organ and Jon Wikan on drums, with guitarist Marvin Sewell adding a new dimension, the group reshapes the classic organ-band sound with a mix of acoustic warmth and subtle electronic textures. From George Coleman’s Amsterdam After Dark to originals and contemporary works by Carla Bley, they move through the music with depth, curiosity, and a vivid sense of groove.
