Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Sassy Centennial Weekend continues at Dizzy’s Club with the G. Thomas Allen Quintet. In 2021, Allen made history, becoming the first male artist to win the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Jazz Competition, also known as the SASSY Awards. He approaches Vaughan’s repertoire with creative reverence, a dizzying range, and an intimacy of phrasing.
